Pleasure and pain are two aspects of life (e.g. “yin” and the “yang”) – they are inseparable. If you are experiencing the painful side of the coin right now, you will inevitably experience the pleasurable side in the future.
Whether we like to admit it or not, "most of us are few life experiences away from a major mental health crisis".
What makes it harder is being unable to talk about it freely, the weightiness of the confession, the impossibility of explaining that it is as serious as it sounds.
What we don’t know is how many people live in the dark space between fleeting thought and an attempt.
Take how we react to suicides in the news, especially of celebrities or public figures. For a few days, we flood social media with reminders that no one is immune to suicide, not even celebrities whose lives seem perfect to us. The outpour of shock and devastation is always perceptible. There are calls to action: Reach out to someone, get help, call this number, we had no idea they were struggling, if only someone had stepped in, you never know what someone is dealing with. At the same time, the sense of alarm and urgency in these sentiments gives the impression that suicidality is standing on the brink, inches from death, waiting desperately for someone to notice and intervene. And that’s how it is for some people.
There’s no single cause of suicidality.Suicide can result from mental illness like Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Stress, PTSD to name a few. Other risk factors may include the recent loss of a loved one or a job, divorce, rejection, shame, a dire medical condition, and a lack of social support. People who die by suicide don't want to end their lives, they want to end their pain.
Most suicidal people give some sign of their intentions.
These symptoms such as Verbal suicide threats,Lack of interest in future plans,Unbearable feelings and hopelessness,Increasing withdrawal and isolation from family and friends may indicate a person is at risk for suicide.
Suicide is a desperate attempt to escape the unbearable sufferings.
But how can we be more aware and prevent it?

It helps us live longer, stronger, happier lives. Although some say more is better, Strive to make or maintain quality than quantity.

6. Better to speak and share than hide and keep suffering.Every problem has a solution but suicide is not the option.
7. Never leave the person alone.
Every year around 8,00,000 people die of suicide globally. It is important we start taking Mental health seriously as we take our Physical health.Be Alert.
